Springtime in Minneapolis

So much is happening in this life. I lost my wife last September and I have been dealing with that unbearable grief. Near the same time, after several years of getting about in a wheelchair, living upstairs meaning I rarely could get out, I now am walker able and can get out to get about. The social life for this 77 year old woman has amplified many fold.
So here I am, holding great grief and great joy, each in its place. I've connected with a group locally called Friends and Co, attending LGBTQ luncheons for queer elders twice a month. I'm making new friends, meeting neighbors, and reinventing myself as often happens when one becomes widowed. One of my hobbies in my past life was photography, so I often take my good camera with me. Also after a too long absence, tomorrow I will return to that for people who know me, oft mentioned memoir.
Alas, this post shall be a short one, but hopefully not so great a delay as this one has been.
